Companies House filings show Shina acquired 75% of Pringle of Scotland in mid-2023 from the Hong Kong Fang family era; the brand is under common control with Crew Clothing and BSI Apparel (Ben Sherman licensee). Knitwear is now largely made outside Hawick. [Fact-check 29 Oct 2026: corrected after source review.]
