boohoo bought the Debenhams name out of administration in 2021 for £55m (no stores) and renamed the whole group Debenhams Group in March 2025; it is now an online department store/marketplace. Debenhams own labels (Maine, Mantaray, Principles, etc.) are group private label; Alshaya retains Debenhams rights in the Middle East.
